FREE Intro to Improv & Improv Singing Class

Want to test the water before you decide to take the plunge? At this free class you’ll get a sample of our style as we play fun, fast-paced games!

Improv class is great for those who want to learn how to think faster on their feet, be more spontaneous and in the moment, reconnect with their creativity, be more confident speaking in public and just have more fun!

Also, there’s no commitment, so no excuses not try it out!


Try something new. It’s not a leap head first, just a toe dip to see how it feels.

About Karina

Karina Dominguez is the registrar and assistant to the Dean of Merlin Works Institute of Improvisation. She graduated from the Merlin Works program in December 2011 with three performances of "The Amazing Improvised Race." She is a full-time actor with commercial credits such as Burger King, Ford, Totino's, H-E-B and various departments for the State of Texas. She was last seen in the opening episode of the second season of "American Crime", and as the welcome video ranger in the second season of HBO's "The Leftovers". She also performs on-stage in various Austin, TX plays including for Capital T Theatre, The Vortex, Vestige Group, Pollyanna Theater among others.

    Hi! I’d like to check out your free class on the 26th. I’ve done improv work in Toronto, working with Second City people, and used to write the set-ups for my acting class. But it’s been a while … Would love to see how you do it!

      We look forward to having you join us for the free intro class on July 26th. We also have a free mixer happening this coming Sunday, June 25th. If you’re able, we’d love to have you join us for that, too!
