Second Sunday Improv 201 Comedy Recital & Improv Jam Night feat. Donut Patrol

Ah, July: Independence Day, weekends at swimming holes and less traffic (hopefully!) since most students have gone home for the summer. It’s a great time for Improv at ZACH!

Come by the Whisenhunt stage at the ZACH Theatre (1510 Toomey Road) on July 9th for some fun with short-form, warm-up games during the FREE Improv Jam beginning at 6:30 PM. Also enjoy refreshing beverages and delicious snacks available in the lobby.

Then at 8:00 PM, the main event:

  • Guest troupe Donut Patrol—buddy cop improv, co-starring our very own dean Kevin Miller!
  • Merlin Works Improv 201 student recital!
  • Then, Merlin Works house troupe The Known Wizards will round out the evening with spontaneous scenes, hilarious games, surprisingly good songs, and fantastic stories all made up on the spot based on audience input. You say it, they play it—like magic!
