6-7:30 pm: Join us for an evening of storytelling as we celebrate our Storytelling 201 class with a showcase where Instructor and Moth Story Slam Champion Paul Normandin has guided his students through shaping these stories over an 8-week workshop series. Watch, laugh, listen, feel along with these storytellers as they share moments from their own lives. This performance is intended for audiences age 16 and up.

8-9:30 pm: The Known Wizards, featuring Merlin Works faculty and the improv all-stars of Austin, headline this comedy improv showcase with spontaneous scenes, hilarious games, surprisingly good songs and fantastic stories all made up based on audience input. The cast includes internationally touring and award-winning improvisers. You say it, they play it—like magic!

• Amoeba — An amorphous, take-a-suggestion-and-go group that uses discovery and relationship to realize its form.
• Escandalo —Melodrama knows no limits in a Muy Sexy, Hilariously Improvised show filled with Longing Glances, Delicious Chisme, and Cold-Blooded Murder.
• The Known Wizards — Merlin Works faculty troupe, round out the evening with spontaneous scenes, hilarious games, surprisingly good songs, and fantastic stories all made up on the spot.

10 – 11:30 pm: An Open Mic without the mic that allows performers to use the whole stage or just a part of it to perform a maximum of 5 minutes of anything. No Shames of old have witnessed magicians, sketches, readings, stand-ups, storytellers, dancers, performance artists, and musicians.

• Austin No Shame has two simple rules:
  • 1) No hurting the Stage and
  • 2) No hurting anyone in the audience.
