Storytelling 101: Finding Your Process
November 16 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, repeating until December 14, 2021
This class will help you be a better prepared and more confident storyteller, whether you want to hear yourself on the next Moth Radio Hour, compete in a StorySlam, or just be more confident when you share a true, personal story at your next happy hour. Publicly presenting your story is more than writing it down. This class will provide you with the tools you need to find a story, develop it, learn the art of giving and receiving feedback, and then telling your story in public. The process you develop for this class will be unique to you, but the tools you gain and the concepts you learn will prepare you for sharing your story in public to any audience, anywhere, at any time. There is a student showcase at the end of the class offering you the opportunity to share your story with a live audience.
