A Special SMILE MORE! Women Doing Comedy While We Still Can!

When: 7 PM, Saturday, March 23, 2024

Where: Merlin Works East: Creative Action 1023 Springdale Road, Bldg. 3

Who: Spend a Saturday with sharp-witted comics performing their one-woman shows about doing woman-y things!

What: Midlife Renaissance is comedian Valerie Nies’ one-woman show where she explores pole dancing in orthopedic wedges, rethinks relationships, and challenges notions of being chosen, all while wearing adequate sun protection. Midlife Renaissance debuted at Frontera Fest in 2024, where it won the “Best of Week” accolade.

The Hot One, performed by comedian Rosanna Turner, is a show about one woman’s journey to hotness after a lifetime of feeling fugly. Come for the jokes and stay for a striptease that promises to be more laughable than sexy.

Hosted by the formidably funny Stephanie Chiarello (Over the Lege).

Warning: Pre-purchase is HIGHLY encouraged. This event tends to sellout. In case of a sellout, seats unclaimed by start of show will be sold to walk-ups.
