Announcing A New Team Member at Merlin Works!

Hi Merlin Works Staff, Teachers, Volunteers and Friends-

As you know, Paul Normandin has done an amazing job of leading The Merlin Works Institute for Improvisation out of the dark days of the pandemic into the bright sunshine of the 2020’s. He’s helped us add Storytelling Classes, Stand Up Classes, Specialty Classes, new show formats, new venues, and amazing teachers to our program. Behind the scenes he’s built spreadsheets, business processes, and working relationships in our community and beyond. We’ll always be grateful and he’ll always be a Known Wizard Emeritus. But we can’t hog all of Paul’s talents and need to give him time to focus on his writing, directing, storytelling, performing, relaxing and retiring.

So I have an exciting announcement to make. Grace Pinegar is stepping forward to take over Paul’s duties and more at Merlin Works. Grace is now the Director of Operations and Marketing (DOOM) at Merlin Works. We are so excited about Grace’s talents on stage as an improviser, sketch comedian and storyteller as well as her project management and graphic design skills. Grace has been working with us for a few months now and I think you will enjoy it as much as I have. So please feel free to reach out to her at grace@merlin-works.com to introduce yourself and get to know her.

The good news is Paul will be here through the end of June to help Grace transition into her new role. As always let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

Thanks,
Shana Merlin
