We’re back with July shows!

It’s been a minute – but we’re BACK with another Merlin Works marathon

🏃🏻‍♀️

of shows! Join us on Saturday, July 26th for what is quickly becoming one of my favorite combinations of events: a jam, The Cauldron, and Recess!

→ A JAM

  • Our free improv jam kicks off at 6pm. Join us alongside other kind, supportive improvisers who are looking to advance their improv skills or try something new! This jam is led by our expert instructor, Jo Chauvin, who will use games and group activities to help you trust your instincts and grow your confidence as a performer and person.

→ THE CAULDRON

  • This 8pm variety show invites improv, storytelling, stand-up and musical improv students/graduates to submit to perform in their performance style of choice. Do you have a five-minute story you’d love to tell in front of a supportive audience? Have you ever wanted to jump into a montage set with the Known Wizards? Put your name in the bucket! Cauldrons are always a great time to see other Merlin Works friends and teachers, and get some laughs in along the way.
  • Not feeling performance ready? We’d still love to have you in the crowd! Purchase a ticket to The Cauldron (free for students!) and come join the fun!

→ RECESS

  • Merlin Works improv classes are fondly referred to as “like playtime for adults,” which is just what our 10pm show slot offers! You can either submit your troupe (or submit yourself as an individual) to perform in our improv show Recess, or purchase a ticket (also free for students!) to come out and support!

It’s been a while since we’ve had shows in the works – and I don’t know about you, but I’ve been missing it. I hope you’ll come out to our big night of events — performers and audience members alike!

Sincerely,

Grace Pinegar
