June 11: Merlin Works presents Improv at ZACH Second Sunday Comedy Showcase feat. Things We Don’t Speak Of!

Ah, June: The heat is on and I go into summer hibernation in order to survive the scorching Texas heat. It’s a great thing that the Improv at ZACH shows are in an air-conditioned space!

Come by the Whisenhunt stage at the ZACH Theatre (1510 Toomey Road) on June 11th for some fun with short-form, warm-up games during the FREE Improv Jam beginning at 6:30 PM. Also enjoy refreshing beverages and delicious snacks available in the lobby.

Then at 8:00 PM, the main event:

  • Guest troupe Things We Don’t Speak Of!
  • A Merlin Works student showcase!
  • Then, Merlin Works house troupe The Known Wizards will round out the evening with spontaneous scenes, hilarious games, surprisingly good songs, and fantastic stories all made up on the spot based on audience input. You say it, they play it—like magic!
