Miss Communication

I had a ton of fun filming the first in a series of webisodes for Premier Global . I was cast in the role of Miscommunication. I am one of a group of characters (Fear, Insecurity, etc.) that represent old and problematic ways of doing business. It was one of the most elaborate shoots I’ve been on so far, with real wardrobe, hair and makeup, script consultants, directors, several assistant directors and a ton of crew. Best of all, when I showed up to set, they told me they had added a scene made up entirely of me improvising. I was just supposed to prattle on and not make a lot of sense. I loved it.

Hopefully my episode will be online in the new year and it might even turn in to a recurring role.

Here is a picture of me in my ridiculous Miss Communication costume.

About Shana Merlin

Merlin Works is the brainchild of Shana Merlin: improviser, teacher, and performer. Since 1996, she’s been leading classes that stretch people’s imaginations, push them out of their comfort zones, and make them laugh out loud for hours at a time.

Yeah, you look cute, even though you are silly looking, too!
