A prolific author of 13 books, Bob’s newest title, “The Improv Comedy Musician,” was co-written with Laura Hall, the longtime music director and pianist on “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”

Ready to expand your musical improv bag of tricks? Bob will walk you through the basics of melody, rhythm and rhyme – and how to incorporate them into an improv game or scene. No matter your previous improv or musical experience, Bob promises to make it easy and fun to make up lyrics on the spot. There will also be a lot of useful best practices for experienced improvisers.

Bob hails from St. Louis, MO, where he has a long history as a musician, singer, actor, visual artist, and improviser. He teaches and performs short-form improv and directs a monthly Improv Comedy Cabaret, a full two-hour improv show that features a lot of music.
