I’m looking to add a news/announcements section to the website, so I can easily list upcoming classes, shows, and events.

For example, on Tuesday I was a celebrity guest host for the Austin Air Guitar Championship at the Alamo Drafthouse Downtown. It was so much fun. People had these crazy costumes and personas and 60 seconds to rock out on the air guitar to a song of their choosing. It was an exercise in pure commitment. And then my job as one of the 3 judges was to give snarky comments, American Idol style. Apparently, the crowd at the Alamo loves a little innuendo.

A news spot filmed on Tuesday at the Championships should be on their website soon. And I’ve already been invited back to be a guest judge on the next round, Tuesday April 26 at 9:45pm. They’ve been selling out most of the shows, so if you wanna go, get your tickets ahead of time.
