Improv Singing Graduation Show

The Improv Singing Six Week Class ended last night in a thrilling graduation show. The show really exceeded my expectations. Everyone did a great job. There was no weak links. The students/performers had so much joy onstage and it really was contagious throughout the room. The audience ate it up with a big improv spoon. My friend Sara was kind enough to take pictures of the show for me and here’s some highlights.

Loved being at this show to take photos!!! I was laughing so hard, it was hard to hold the camera still, so I’m glad to see some of them turned out okay. Thanks for putting these photos up here. Did none of the scene with Madeline & Christina turn out (or was that on Mo’s camera? — She took a few, too, when your batteries wore out)?

Oh, Alex’s picture is gone. Boo!

I wanted to post that his song chorus (suggestion = “Magma”) I had heard as “Squirrel, squirrel, squirrel running round my heart” which I thought was great, but a little tangential. However, I was not surprised to see in your post that the chorus was acutally “Swirl, swirl, swirl running round my heart” which makes a lot more sense and is even more brilliant.

As you know, I like squirrles a lot (which is probably why I mis-heard it) and I occasionally sing the “squirrel” version to myself bc I liked it so much, and it still makes me happy. Like today.
