Seattle Festival of Improv Theater

Get Up had a great time at the Seattle Festival of Improv Theater. They are amazing hosts. They helped us get out there, arranged a ride from the airport, hooked us up with a sweet hotel, have a super-sweet 150+ seat theater that they fill with audiences every night, and groovy parties.

We got to do some sightseeing.

Seattle is such a cool town, it makes you start thinking about living there every time we visit.

The shows were really successful. The first night we did our original format. The music was a soap opera/Melrose Place kind of style. So we ended up doing a story about a wedding weekend in Malibu where it’s revealed over the weekend that the bride’s identical twin sister was pregnant with the grooms child.

Then, since we taught a Special Effects workshop on Saturday, we performed our new format, The Adventurers, a 1930’s adventure serial a la Indiana Jones.
