We work hard at Merlin Works to create a safe environment for our students. Part of that is creating a bond among the students in class. We find that visitors and observers can disrupt that closeness. Also, many students in beginner level classes don’t feel comfortable performing for an audience yet and aren’t ready to be observed. So we recommend bringing guests to the Free Intro to Improv Class or the Improv Mixer, events that are open to everyone in the community.
