Woo hoo! We’re going strong with our Second Sunday shows and this time we have a special Improv Jam before the show where you get to warm up with your friends, family and fellow improvisers!The Improv Jam starts at 6:30pm at the Kleberg Lobby. You’ll be able to purchase some drinks and snacks, mingle with your fellow improvisers, and invited to play with the Merlin Works Instructors as they lead you through some fun, short-form warm up games. Then, at 8pm is our Second Sunday Show! At this Second Sunday Show, you’ll get to see:

The Known Wizards~

The Known Wizards features the Merlin Works faculty who headline this comedy improv showcase with spontaneous scenes, hilarious games, surprisingly good songs and fantastic stories all made up based on audience input. The cast includes internationally touring and award-winning improvisers Shana Merlin, Michael Joplin, Aden Kirschner, Ted Rutherford, Shannon McCormick, Lauren Buck, Kevin Miller, Lacy Shawn, Quinn Buckner, Kevin Miller, and Special Guests. Live keyboard accompaniment by Ammon Taylor.

About Karina

Karina Dominguez is the registrar and assistant to the Dean of Merlin Works Institute of Improvisation. She graduated from the Merlin Works program in December 2011 with three performances of "The Amazing Improvised Race." She is a full-time actor with commercial credits such as Burger King, Ford, Totino's, H-E-B and various departments for the State of Texas. She was last seen in the opening episode of the second season of "American Crime", and as the welcome video ranger in the second season of HBO's "The Leftovers". She also performs on-stage in various Austin, TX plays including for Capital T Theatre, The Vortex, Vestige Group, Pollyanna Theater among others.
