We know you love the shows at Merlin Works, but it’s a great big improv world out there worth exploring. That’s why we’re taking part in MITCH week! Who is MITCH? (M) Merlin Works In any given week there are DOZENS of shows happening at the five big theaters/training centers, not to mention troupes producing shows at the University of Texas and other various venues around town. Odds are you’ve been meaning to check out one of those shows at one of those places that you don’t normally play or see shows. Well, the second week in September is your chance! We’re encouraging everyone in the Austin Improv community to go out and see at least ONE show at a theater that you don’t usually see shows at. You can either play it safe and buy/reserve your ticket ahead of time, or you can gamble and just show up – all of the theaters have agreed to adopt an improvisers-see-shows-for-free-if-it’s-not-sold-out-at-showtime policy for the week of September 14-21. |
