Dusk Tagline Contest

I’m looking for ideas to parody the Twilight and New Moon taglines and use for Dusk.

Here are the original taglines:
From Twilight:

  • When you can live forever what do you live for?
  • Forever. Begins. Now.
  • Nothing will be the same

From New Moon

  • It will be as though I never existed.
  • Forbidden to Remember; Terrified to Forget.
  • Somewhere, a clock is ticking.
  • When you can’t be with the one you love, will you stay with the one who loves you?
  • Love Bites Back

From the Twilight Book Cover:

About three things I was absolutely positive.

First, Edward was a vampire.

Second, there was a part of him– and I didn’t know how dominant that part might be — that thirsted my blood.

And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

Here’s some of the parody taglines we’ve come up with so far:

  • True love waits….forever
    Love bites.
  • When you live forever, the foreplay never ends
  • Foreplay is forever

About three things I was absolutely positive.

First, this book was vampire romance for prepubescent girls.

Second, there was a part of this book– and I didn’t know how dominant that part might be — that went against all my feminist beliefs.

And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with it.

What do you like/hate?
Any more ideas?

I really like the adaptation of the three sentence tag. Funny as hell and spot on.

    More additions:

From Lindsey: I love this from the Cleolinda blog: "Twilight means never having to say you're kidding." Could be adapted.

    From Julie:
    Dusk: It never gets dark.

    No is the new Yes

When your hormones have been raging for eight decades, what's another two or three?

It may be dusk, but there are no gray areas here.

Teen angst – it never gets old. Neither do vampires.

An idea from Mo: "Not having sex is the new sex…"
